I did it! Over a stone of me gone in 7 weeks! I’ve no idea how I managed to lose 2lbs this week, as, despite my good intentions after last week’s weigh in, it’s not been a great one food-wise! I’m blaming work again. Well, if you’re offered a job that involves chocolate, you’re not not going to eat some, are you?! And as it also involved a trip to London, that meant eating out, which turned out to be fish and chips…
But, no matter. I did it. I’ve been pretty good the rest of the time, although I’m getting a bit slack with my syns and measuring my Healthy Extra ‘a’ choice. But, yesterday, I found this fab bottle in Poundland, which has handy measurements on the side so I can make sure I don’t go over my milk allowance (or have half milk, half cheese if I need).
This week’s yummy meal (other than the fish and chips!) was this chicken curry I made for our dinner last night.
It’s a syn-free recipe from an old Slimming World magazine I had years ago, but it’s so tasty! I adapted it slightly to our taste (The Hubby doesn’t like some of the herbs and spices used) and I added Quark to make it creamier. Small loves it and eats the lot, so it must be ok!
I’m so pleased I’ve managed to lose over a stone! It’s going to be tough now the kids are on holiday and we’re out of our usual routine, but I’ll do my best to stay on plan as much as possible. I’m not going to deny myself the odd little treat now and again though!
