The Hump Day House Blitz #6 – The Kitchen Cupboard

Kel Life Hacks 2 Comments

Welcome back to the Hump Day House Blitz! This week, I’ve decided to tackle a kitchen cupboard (just the one – for now!). It’s the one with all the tins, jars, packets and so on – often inhabited by condiments that passed their best-before date sometime in 2011. It’s the cupboard we seem to keep adding to, but there are always certain items that never get used, languishing in the dark at the back (note my jar of peppers in the video!).

Use my checklist below to get you started; you may have more or less in your cupboard than me, so it’s just a guide. I’ve also made my very first Hump Day House Blitz video on YouTube, so have a watch to see how I got on!

If you join in the Blitz this week, I’d love to see your before and after shots – use the hashtag #HumpDayHouseBlitz on Instagram so I can find your pictures, and tag @schoolrunshop too!

Good luck!

I remember cleaning mothers kitchen cupboards
When she died. Old item was 24 1/2 years out of date which we thought was pretty good considering she’s only lived in this house 22 years!
