Mum's 12 Days of Panic! Poem

Mum’s 12 Days of Panic!

Kel Latest 14 Comments

Ahh, the run-up to Christmas. A time to relax with family and enjoy the festivities; grotto visits, Christmas markets, days out shopping, the office party… unless you’re a mum. The few weeks before the big day can be an anxiety-filled time, where you hope and pray that you’ve got everything organised and not forgotten anything important in order for everyone else to have the best time. Here is an ode to those panicky days…

Mum’s 12 Days of Panic

On the first day of Christmas, my panic gave to me, a hunt for a huge turkey.

On the second day of Christmas, my panic gave to me, two shepherd’s costumes and a hunt for a huge turkey.

Too cute – You nailed it for sure! While I’m feeling fairly organized this year, there are still some things to do (Teacher gifts – I struggle with these every year!!)

Haha yup. All of the above! It’s a long-standing joke in our house that we always forget to put batteries in the kids’ toys and then they get upset because they can’t play with them on Christmas day. Ooops. At least you’ve reminded me to stock up this year! #blogcrush
