National Stationery Day – Some favourite products!

Kel Competitions and Giveaways, Latest 148 Comments

If you know me, or if you’ve seen posts like this one in the past, then you’ll know I’m partial to a bit of stationery. Actually, partial is probably understating it. Stick me in Paperchase for an hour and I’m happy as a pig in muck. So, imagine my excitement when I realised there’s an actual national day dedicated to stationery! To celebrate National Stationery Day on 25th April, I’m going to share some lovely stationery products with you, and I’m also giving away a luxury notebook – read on to find out more!

My National Stationery Day Faves!

I do love a planner! I’m sure a person only really needs one, but if I spot another one I like, I have to have it! I’m a bit rubbish at using them, if I’m honest, but they’re so pretty! I like these from Old English Company as they’re simple and undated. I think the more complicated the planner, the less likely I am to use it! If you would like to win one, Old English are holding a competition, which you can enter here.

One of my favourite blogging planners is this one from Stationery Geek (love that name, it’s totally me!). The Blogger’s Bible has everything you need to plan out your blog, posts and social media month by month – and even includes stickers! Yay!

And another planner I do actually use, especially when I’m out and about and have a few minutes to write is the Ultimate Blog Planner from Dot Creates. It has enough room for 12 months worth of posts and is undated, which I love. I pop mine in my handbag and get it out when I’m at soft play with Tink and I’m suddenly hit with post inspiration!

I think I must have eleventy billion notebooks. They’re in my handbag, in my laptop bag, all over the house, next to my bed… You never know when you’re going to be struck with inspiration, or need to jot something crucial down, so you can never have too many notebooks! Plus, I love an inspirational quote, so whenever I’m in a shop like The Works* or The Range*, I’ll have a quick look to see if they have any new ones in.

If you’re after a more special notebook, take a look at these, from The Gifted Notebook

The Castelli notebook is a notebook of serious quality! It comes with its own pencil, packaged luxuriously in a tissue-lined sleeved box and comes in a range of gorgeous designs!

If you’d like to win one, I have one Honeycomb Gold Notebook, worth £13.95 to give away! Just enter via the Gleam widget below.

One area of stationery that I love is cards. I used to design, make and sell my own, BK (Before Kids), when I had the time and the space for my papercrafting stash. Nowadays I have to buy them, but there are some really gorgeous cards out there, for every occasion you could think of. These from Hallmark are very cute!

Of course, if you do want to make your own cards, there is an absolute tonne of inspiration at The Range*, where you can stock up on all the papercrafting stash! Making cards is a great activity to do with the kids too, and doesn’t have to be expensive if you don’t want it to be!

Other Stationery Products

Other cool stationery products I’ve seen recently include:

Magnetic Notes and Boards that cling to almost any surface!

This cute art caddy/ desk tidy from A Place For Everything (loads of organisational ideas here!) and also this cool Lego pencil case for the kids!

These glitter markers* from The Range, which caught my eye!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my little National Stationery Day celebration guide to just a tiny amount of the delicious stationery that’s out there at the moment? Don’t forget to enter my giveaway to win the luxury Castelli notebook!  I’m off to the shops to stock up!

Disclosure: I was gifted products, including the Castelli notebook giveaway prize in return for featuring in this post.

I use different notebooks for the different types of projects I am working on, so I have one for sewing, one for DIY, one for gardening, etc. I really need another notebook to track what is going on with other projects that don’t fit into any of the other clear categories.
