I’ve had a much better week food-wise this week, although I’ve actually struggled to eat properly for a few days thanks to a difficult root canal treatment coupled with sore mouth ulcers! I’m still taking a more relaxed approach, at least until the kids are back at school and we get some proper routine back in our lives! So, I’m a little disappointed with just a 1lb loss, but it’s to be expected, I guess.
This week I made a delicious Beef Ragu Pasta Bake which went down well with everyone. It has loads of veg hiding in it, but the kids didn’t seem to notice – bonus! You can find the recipe for it here.
But this week’s favourite meal was breakfast (I’m a fan of a cooked brekkie – can you tell?!) I love that a plate full like this is so low in syns (only 1 per sausage and the scrape of butter on my toast) but it fills me up for hours!
This week’s tip: drink more water! I need to up my water intake as I’ve noticed a few headaches, which I’m sure are a result of not drinking enough. Drinking lots of water can also boost loss, so this week I’m giving it a try!
