Sigh. It’s not been a good week. I really need a kick up the bum! As I mentioned last week, it was the run up to The Hubby’s payday (I don’t have one anymore!) and the cupboards, fridge and even the freezer were looking a bit spartan. I really struggled to stay on plan – to the extent that I didn’t, really.
I seem to be stuck in a bit of a rut at the moment. I’m disappointed with the 1lb loss I’ve had for each of the last 3 weeks, but can’t seem to motivate myself to do much about it! And this week, I’ve maintained, meaning I didn’t lose anything – but I didn’t put anything on either.
I think I might try adding in some Extra Easy SP days this week, which is new to me, as they weren’t a thing when I did it before. If you don’t know, SP days are basically meals containing half protein, half ‘speed’ veg, so almost anything except potatoes. No other carbs except for Healthy Extras. Snacks should be speed foods too where possible. It’s pretty strict, so I’m not sure I’ll like it, but it might just give me the boost I need.
My favourite meal this week was breakfast! Strawberries, blueberries and banana, with a muller light bananas and custard yoghurt and a crumbled Alpen Light bar on top. Yum!
