I’ll admit, I’ve not had a great week. I’m finding it hard with the kids being at home and demanding food every five minutes! Plus, I’ve had a couple of days of not feeling well and when I don’t feel well, I don’t want to eat well. So, I think that, combined with the fact that I’ve changed group and gone from weighing first thing in the morning to 7.30 in the evening has contributed to this week’s gain of half a pound. Or the new scales are out.
But, despite the gain, I’m so glad I’ve joined the new group! What a lovely, friendly leader and the other ladies were fab too. It helps that my cousin goes, so I have someone to talk to! Most amusing when a drunk chap wandered in with his big bottle of cheap cider (“I robbed it from the Co-op!”) and offered to have a drink for us all. Not as amusing when he wouldn’t leave…
This week’s favourite meal was fajitas! We love fajitas – they’re so quick and easy to make, but not very Slimming World friendly if you use tortilla wraps, guacamole, sour cream… So, I came up with a way to get the taste, but without the syns!
Next week’s weigh in may or may not happen as we go away. I’m trying to decide whether to just throw all caution to the wind and enjoy my holiday, or whether to find a group to weigh in at and attempt to stick to plan as closely as I can. But… ice cream, cream teas, fish and chips…
