Now, I like to bring you some motivation on a Monday, as I know it can be a tricky day and sometimes we just need someone to give us a kick up the bum. But, what happens when the bum-kicker is the one feeling unmotivated? I won’t lie; I’m struggling a little right now, with all that’s going on in my life.  I’m almost at the point where I want to pull the duvet back over my head and hide from the world. So, what do you do when you don’t feel motivated?

 

What do you do when you don't feel motivated? Sometimes we need to just stop and take care of ourselves so we don't become overwhelmed. Here are some tips to give you inspiration.

 

What to do when you don’t feel motivated

 

Firstly, know that it’s ok. It’s ok to not always be bright and bubbly and bouncy and ‘on’. If we were constantly like that, we’d burn out in no time. Take some time to chill, and just be… Motivation comes and goes, so relax, and it will return!

 

 

One reason we can feel demotivated is because we’re overwhelmed by all the things. This is probably the universe trying to tell us it’s time to slow down and take stock. One of the best things we can do when we’re feeling like this is to practise some self care – not easy when we feel we should be doing other things instead, but pretty essential! I tend to retreat into myself, when I feel like this. That, however, is not the right thing to do! Give yourself time, do something you love, even if only for 5 minutes. Most of all, take care of you lovely lady x
